I was in movement making Wing Man I was listening to music, as I always do when I paint and, not surprisingly, the gestures and strokes are all suggestive of movement. I named it Wing Man because the dark, gestural marks suggest an intimacy between us that, if you are lucky, is a constant - supporting us, being with us, enjoying us. That's a wing man in my book.
