I’VE NEVER DONE A COMMISSION. HOW DOES THIS WORK?
You reserve your commission spot with Elizabeth by completing your purchase on hannahcrenshaw.com. Once your order is placed, Elizabeth will reach out to you to help select the photograph you want her to use and discuss the creative process.
WHAT SIZE AND PRICING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
3 size options available: 8x10in, 11x14in, 16x20in. Pricing will change based on number of children you would like in the painting. Pricing ranges from $800 - $2,000.
HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPH?
- Outdoors is always best!
- You want good lighting and composition with a nice background (beaches, docks, parks all work nicely).
- The pictures of your children doing what they love are always fun. Think running on the beach, playing in the sand, running in the park, hiking a mountain...
- Elizabeth and HC Fine Art are happy to help you through photography selection, too
WHEN WILL I GET THE FINISHED PAINTING?
Because your painting is created specifically for you, commissions typically take 3–4 months to complete. If you’re working toward a special deadline—such as a birthday or anniversary—Elizabeth will do her best to accommodate your timeline.
WILL MY PAINTING BE FRAMED?
You can choose what works best for you. Elizabeth is happy to frame your painting in a gold float frame for $100, or she can ship the work to you unframed.
